Nottingham duo Shrykull now unveil ‘Beyond Subconscious Realms’, the follow-up to their 2018 self-titled debut. A more adventurous and ambitious record, the album finds the pair’s deathmetal influence coming into clearer focus than ever before, delivering some of their fastest and most intense material to date alongside some of their heaviest and most physically crushing. Whilst the first album’s stripped down approach was written with the band’s live show in mind at all times, ‘Beyond Subconscious Realms’ broadens Shrykull’s sonic palette with some additional noisy textures, harmonies and even guitar leads.
